ABSTRACT: The fossils which are involved in the Lutetian limestones exposed around Orhaniye village in the north of Ankara,, show some angular shear strains due to the .folding processes. Ä strain ratio of R = 1.40 - 1.48 is obtained by using bilaterally .symmetrical fossils as strain markers.
